HOW DOES AIR CONDITIONING
WORK IN COOLING?
The general principle of air conditioning is that energy is absorbed from one area and released into another. This process requires an indoor unit, an outdoor unit (the pump) and the piping to connect both together. The refrigerant then flows from one unit to the other via the piping, absorbing the energy in one unit and releasing it in the other.

WHAT ABOUT HEATING?
Heat pump systems are air conditioners which can be used for both cooling and heating. They are able to reverse the process of transporting heat from one place to another.
Heat pump systems are more energy efficient than other heaters. The reason for this is simple: rather than burning a fuel, it just moves the heat. Heat pumps are up to five times more energy efficient than other heaters.
By heating and cooling with the same unit, you can save both costs and energy throughout the year.
