Air Conditioning Energy Reports
Building owners and facilities managers who control the operation of air-conditioning systems have statutory obligations and duties of care in the operation and maintenance of air-conditioning systems and are responsible for commissioning this report.
The Government has introduced a new legislation to meet the requirements of the European Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD).The aim is to provide building owners and occupiers with information about the systems performance and identify opportunities to reduce CO2 emissions. The inspection will highlight measures which, if adopted, will have the potential to save energy and money.
All air-conditioning systems with an effective rated output greater than 12 kW must now have their energy efficiency assessed.
Once the inspection has been carried out, You will receive the report which includes recommendations to improve the efficiency of your system. These might range from improvements to the maintenance regime, through changes to the way the system is operated, to recommendations on the specification of a new or replacement system.
Air conditioning energy reports contain:
- Information on the current efficiency of your system
- Suggestions for improving the efficiency of your equipment
- Advice on replacing inefficient equipment
- Faults identified and suggested actions
- Information on the adequacy of your equipment maintenance and how to improve it
- Advice on reducing your need for air conditioning
